The lack of daylight was claustrophobic and as a result would not stay there again despite the obvious attraction of city centre location.

We had a great stay ahead of an upcoming move to the area. The apartment is right in the centre of Shrewsbury, and close to all the sights of the city, plus restaurants, the park, the river, the theatre. It suited us perfectly as a family with a small child and a dog. The pint of milk and snacks were also very welcome after a long drive, as was David's welcome. Thank you for having us!

Yes, free parking is available about 6mins away.

As mentioned in previous post, tucked away in the town centre.
The only noise came from the neighbours next door and above, otherwise great for a short visit to Shrewsbury.

Everything was just how it was described looked just like the photos great host answered all the questions I had and even gave me recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area

I’m sure it saved somewhere in the description but… I was a bit shocked when the living room had only two skylights, and the downstairs bedrooms on the bathroom, had absolutely no windows at all. There is an air conditioning system to circulate the air, but I did not realize that I was claustrophobic until I stayed here. Not suitable for anyone who needs A window to be able to sleep. Dave was a lovely guy and really helpful. They have clearly made the most of the space they had available but ….
Also, don’t stay if you don’t like dogs. Dave and his wife live on the opposite side of the patio and have two dogs.
There was fresh milk for us and fresh tulips for us. It was clean and comfortable, but I spent the whole three days just wanting to get out of there. Sorry, Dave. Xx

Had an amazing stay at David’s

David met us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the place explaining where everything was. The place is clean, cute and they’d left us some snacks to welcome us. Perfectly located in the center and has a car parking space 5 minutes away - would recommend!

Cosy 1 studio perfect location. ⭐️Very cosy for the 3 of us , but ideal for a one night stay in Shrewsbury. We had everything we needed and Dave the host was always on hand to answer any questions we had. Added bonus was the free car parking space (only a short walk).

We had a great stay in this excellent accommodation. The host was extremely hospitable and accommodating. The flat is in a convenient location and the parking space is just a short walk away. Despite the town centre location, it's extremely quiet. The flat is very comfortable and spacious with a large lounge, well appointed-kitchen and two nice bedrooms. Highly recommended.

It is located at the very central location and you can walk anywhere you want to. The apartment was comfortable and cozy as its name suggests - it has a small kitchen, a front room with a smart TV, 2 bedrooms with a double bed each and a bathroom with a shower box, toilet and a small sink. The Wi-Fi was very handy as neither mine (O2) or my husband’s phone (Three/Vodafone) had enough signal strength to do anything in this area.
Andrea kindly let us use their washer and drier which was super helpful, and learning my daughter likes dogs, she kindly let her play with their cute little dogs, Ed and Henry (plus their guest dog, gizmo!) It was the best experience for my daughter and we really enjoyed the time at their apartment. Thank you so much!

We booked this accommodation very last minute (the morning of the day we wanted to stay), David was very responsive and approved our request within the hour. I explained that we wouldn’t get there until very late and he was understanding and accommodating, we swapped numbers and kept in contact. He was friendly and welcoming on arrival, showed us around and recommended local places to eat/visit. It was a lovely stay and we are keen to visit again. Thanks David!

Rooms were clean, and very quiet. No oven, just microwave and toaster, but as you are right in town there are so many places to eat, you are spoilt for choice. David always responded straight away when we messaged, so great host. Would definitely book here again.

The place is located very central and easy to walk places from there. The hosts are very responsive and easy to communicate. The place was very good for us as we just needed comfortable beds and a clean place for one night.

They had fresh milk for us, tea and instant coffed. The only thing is that the place doesn't have windows. For one night it was ok but not sure for more days since I like being able to see outside and get daylight.

The parking lot is a bit of a walk but there are options near the place. My mum has some issues with her knee so we ended parking at a car park 2 mins from the place which was affordable and very near.

We were briefly there for one night and it was a very good location for us. The host was very responsive and gave us detailed, accurate information. We were delayed on the M6 (turned engines off for an hour) so he was flexible in our arrival. Having car parking was an added bonus, just a little way across the bridge from the apartment. Definitely recommended.

Great location in the centre of town. We stayed for the one night while visiting the theatre. The flat was clean, comfy and well equipped. Beds were super comfy and it was so peaceful we slept like logs, you wouldn’t have known you were in the centre of town.

Corey 2 is a wonderful spot right in the middle of everything. The apartment was very clean and quiet despite being downtown. David made check in very easy and he was super accommodating - a real pleasure to meet. Great spot!

Me and my family had a great overnight stay at this place when we came to Shrewsbury to watch a show. The flat was lovely and spotless, and the hosts were super responsive to all our queries! They even left us some fresh milk from the milkman! My Grandma has some accessibility requirements, and this place was perfect, very few steps and right in the middle of town and near the theatre. Brilliant stay for all of us!

We had a wonderful stay at Dave’s Cosy Corner! From start to finish, Dave was excellent in communication—kind, accommodating, and helpful. Definitely a hidden gem! Perfect location for everything we needed. Apartment was very well looked after and had everything we needed, including little 4 legged visitors with waggy tails popping in to say good morning. Apartment is in a convenient location but it was not clear that the parking is not near the apartment which is not great of you have luggage. Also there are no windows in the bedrooms which make it feel very claustrophobic
The shower is incredibly difficult to control temperature and was mouldy. We felt that the apartment was not furnished to a very high standard for the money. Very much an ikea feel

Accommodation was clean and well presented.

The only negative was that there were two piles of sick and humane excrement near the main front door early Sunday am. This was cleared quickly and the pavements washed down, we presume by owners or shop residents. We understand this is beyond David's control.

I met up with a friend so the accommodation was great and in a good location in the centre of town.

Brill stay

Another amazing stay in one of there diffrent apartments and it was sooo comfy after a long day of train traveling. The sofa is sooo comfy and cozy and comfy thick fluffy blankets over you and huge tv to watch a movie to snuggle up with my pooches.
The bed was sooo comfy after comfortable I slept like a log and the flat had all I needed and more and it was lovely and warm.

And all the shops are 2 seconds walk away and also too the river and the main park and the river cruise.

I will be back there and already booked it. To do a spot of Xmas shopping.

Only had a one night stay for a girls night out, the apartment was very central to everything, shops and bars. Lovley clean apartment, David met us when we got there to make sure everything was ok, . We need for nothing, even tea, coffee and milk was there for us,

Brilliant place to stay. Very central. Cosy, comfy and warm. The best place ever.

Had a lovely stay and place was exactly as described and in a great location. Bedrooms are small so it might be a squeeze for 4 larger adults but for my friend and I it was perfect and we’d definitely recommend it and would stay again for sure.

I stayed here for the weekend with my partner and a friend while exploring the local area looking to get an idea for relocating. The superb location right in the centre of town was perfect for this and allowed us all to explore the area and all it has to offer while still having a relaxing and peaceful stay in such a nice place.
